Design asus-zenfone-5-design

Asus Zenfone 5 like its elder sibling Zenfone 6 has very good built quality and beautiful design. The phone has premium feel with its front protected by corning gorilla glass 3. It also features a metal strip at the front which adds to its elegance. The phone has 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720p and a decent screen pixel density of 294. The screen quality is very good with good colour reproduction and accuracy.

Hardware asus-zenfone-5-processor-lowest-price

Asus Zenfone 5 has Intel® Atom™ Dual-Core Z2560 Processor clocked in at 1.6 GHz with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology as a result of which android recognizes it as a quad core processor. The phones performance is a result very smooth and it is also very responsive. The phone comes with 2GB RAM, a first in its price range, making multitasking fun and lag free. The phone comes with PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU which is decent GPU and will play all casual to high end games though few high end games did show some frame drops and GTA:SA refused to run due to some compatibility issue. Overall the gameplay was good and smooth.

Camera and Other features asus-zenfone-5-camera

Asus Zenfone 5 comes with a 8 MP primary camera with Asus own PixelMaster technology for better low light imaging. We tested the claims and the results were not as impressive as Asus Zenfone 6 But yeah it gave decent enough shots both in low light and Daylight. The phone supports 1080p video recording and has a 2MP front camera for video calling (and Selfie of course). The phone supports USB OTG and has dual SIM support.

Software asus-zenfone-5-kitkat-lowest-price

Asus Zenfone 5 like Asus Zenfone 6 runs on Asus custom user interface ZenUI built over android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Asus have promised 4.4 KitKat update and is expected to be available in one or two weeks as we write. ZenUI is a very beautiful looking UI with lots of customization done to add various cool features and apps. Notification panel has similarities to iOS with the use of same beautiful round icons. The plus point of UI is while making your phone an admirable device it doesn’t eat into its performance and is incredibly light on system resources.

Why would you Love it? pricegrapple-i-love-my-phone-200x200

Asus Zenfone 5 is very good and viable option at its current price tag and gives very good performance. It is a treat to use as it is very responsive and has beautiful ZenUI. The phone also possesses decent amount of style quotient due to its good looks.

No doubt much ahead of its price, this phone seems promising with its specs, design and brand. This phone will easily take away the market share of Moto G 16GB variant. A must pick if you are looking for a phone in this budget!!

Here i post review for the site which helped me select the right phone
I recently bought a XOLO Q1010i and it was worth buying. Now I needed one more for myself and there came this ad in newspaper and I immediately started researching ASUS Zenfone 5. I on the same day preordered one. Hats off to flipkart. I ordered on Friday and got it on Monday. Now coming to the pros and cons:
    1) Buttery smooth performance. Absolutely no lags. Games are running fast.
    2) ZenUI is something different and nice.
    3) Superslim and beautiful body. However its a bit slippery.
    4) Gorilla screen makes for a hard screen.
    5) Battery is OK, charges in 2 hours to 100%.
    6) Audio quality is nice. Earphones give a theatre feel.
    7) Screen quality is specless. Clarity is better than mentioned with dpi.
    8) camera is cool. Good in low light conditions too. Of course there is Sony Sensor in that like Xolo Q1010i. ASUS has done good with its camera.
    1) Speaker volume is not very loud.
    2) Screen brightness is not much. But it is still very appealing.
    3) It doesnt come with Flip cover or screen guard. Thats a big Loss. Flipkart is selling its cover for Rs. 1600/- which is way too costly. Please reduce its price. Flipkart offered the launch day offer 50% off on the purchase of flip cover. But the same day when I tried, it said "order cannot be shipped to my address". However no such error appeared the VERY next day. Flipkart look into such mistakes. Who is responsible for my loss now?

Well till now no other problems till now. I am a happy customer Thank you Flipkart and PriceGrapple. Cheers to ASUS!!

Well i came across this phone while browsing google and pricegrapple experts helped me decide this phone according to my needs. So i bought this one. I decided to spend Rs. 3000 extra on the 8GB memory which i thought was well justified. Phone just looks, applications, photo, video the best in this price I can get. I just skipped Moto-G, I feel lucky with this device.
